The A2300 is the base model in the Ascent series, but don’t let that fool you—it’s still packed with features. It comes with variable speed control, a pulse feature, and built-in wireless connectivity. The motor base is able to recognize the container size and adjust program settings and maximum blending times accordingly. It doesn’t have pre-set programs, so it’s up to you to control the blending time and speed.
The A2500 offers all the features of the A2300 but adds three pre-set programs for smoothies, hot soups, and frozen desserts. This feature allows you to set the blender and walk away, knowing it will stop when the program is complete.
The A3300 is a step up in terms of design. It replaces the physical switches and dial found on the A2300 and A2500 with a sleek touchscreen interface. It doesn’t have pre-set programs but does offer the ability to create and save your own through the Vitamix App.
The A3500 is the top-of-the-line Ascent model. It combines the best of all worlds with the touchscreen interface and five pre-set programs (Smoothies, Hot Soups, Dips & Spreads, Frozen Desserts, and Self-Cleaning). It also offers the ability to create and save custom programs.
When deciding which Vitamix Ascent to buy, consider your budget and how you plan to use the blender.
